Regarding Food Vendor Inquiries:
- Use of the term “Food Vendor” is intended to include any food, beverages, desserts, or any kind of edible items, regardless of the type of packaging used.
- A majority of venues do not allow for Repticon as promoters to book food vendors due to stipulations in the venue contracts. Please inquire at [email protected] regarding the shows you are interested in vending and Bookings can either advise or in turn inquire with our primary staff who works with the venues.
- If allowed by the venue, food vendors who are seeking placement inside the show will only be placed according to availability. Many shows sell out and Repticon favors booking exotic animal vendors over any other vendors offering items or products not related to the intended show content. If food vendors are booked inside a show, they are given a normal table placement (usually an 8 foot standard table). Repticon layouts do not use the 10×10 booth system.
- Outdoor food truck vendors are welcome at any shows a venue will allow, whether it is sold out or not, but our staff will need to confirm with the venue regarding booking a food truck.
- All food vendors pay a booking fee to Repticon (regardless of any potential venue fees) which is at the same rate that regular vendors pay to book one single table for that particular show (see the “vendor info” tab on each specific show’s page for these table rates). This fee must be paid via the interactive booking system. Bookings staff will need to manually book food vendors and they may not self-book.
- Food vendors are entirely responsible for keeping up with all state/county/city licenses and/or permits that they may need. These requirements are outside of the Repticon line of business and expertise, so the show jurisdictions are not vetted by Repticon for food vendor licensing and laws.
- Food vendors are required to follow the general vendor rules which can be found here: Repticon Vendor Rules
