What is “The Entrance Zone” at a Repticon show?
Per the Repticon upper management and beginning in 2026, Repticon will be creating “Entrance Zones” at most events with the intention that more live animals are presented in those Zones so to create a more engaging impact for attendees as they enter the show. Bookings will be placing green lines of delineation into the online layouts at the entrance area to indicate that the tables inside those lines are in The Entrance Zone. Every venue is different and unique, so every Entrance Zone will be different. There are no overall set rules in determining this Zone, but all have been reviewed and vetted by the Repticon Staff familiar with those venues. A few venues may be unusual by having no established Entrance Zone for a variety of reasons.
In order to be booked inside an Entrance Zone, a vendor must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be a Repticon Sponsor.
- Be the pre-arranged exclusive Feeder Insect, Frozen Rodent, or Primary Dry Goods Vendor
- Have 50% or more of live animals covering their booked tables.
Repticon on-site managers will occasionally be reviewing vendor setups to ensure the 50% live animal requirement is being met for vendors booked inside an Entrance Zone. If they fail to meet the requirement, they will be moved outside the Zone at the next show following. For any vendors who vend less than 50% animals and who are moved to outside The Entrance Zone, Bookings will attempt to place them as closely as possible to where they had been, while still placing them outside the Zone.
Please contact Bookings via email if you have any questions.
