Auction to Benefit Critter Encounters Animal Rescue!

Not only will Critter Encounters have fabulous animals at their table that they have been rescuing lately, but you can also help an animal in need by attending the auction to benefit their rescue, Saturday May 19, at 5:30pm! Inquire at their table at the show for further information.

The LB Reptile Experience is a reptile rescue program from Jacksonville that takes over 400 calls a year for both exotic and indigenous reptiles. Returning to Orlando by popular demand, their presentation and seminar will be hands on, as the kids get to touch the animals and hold some of them, as they learn the special stories of these rescued herps from Bob Shumaker. If you like meeting the big reptiles, stop by this presentation and learn more.

Snakes of the Southeast!

Daniel Parker from Sunshine Serpents will be doing a Powerpoint presentation on
Snakes of the Southeast

"Was that a water snake or a cottonmouth? A scarlet king snake or a coral snake? Daniel Parker of Sunshine Serpents and University of Central Florida gives a general overview of the snake species of the southeastern United States with an emphasis on identification, conservation, and venomous snake safety. This presentation will include a colorful powerpoint presentation and live snakes."

Tim Manucy of ByTheShore Reptiles will give a presentation on carpet pythons and other Australian snakes. These unique animals are beautiful snakes that remain somewhat outside of the mainstream herp hobby, and are NOT among Florida's Species of Concern. Stop by this starter seminar of "Carpet Pythons Made Simple" to learn basic information on care, housing, and breeding. You'll also get to see them up close!

Wolf Magic!

Kim from Lost Wolf Rescue will open your hearts and minds to the plight of the wolf, be it a lone wolf or wolf pack. Come meet some of these special animals in a presentation that will teach you how you can help them. It'll be "Wolf Magic."
