Every year Repticon has received a growing number of requests for a Repticon show in Texas. In July of 2010, at long last Repticon went west with our debut Texas show, Repticon Houston! Hosted at the Pasadena Convention Center and Fairgrounds less than three miles East of Houston's outer beltway, Repticon Houston featured a great selection reptiles, amphibians, and pet products from across the South, as well as the seminars and activities that only Repticon brings. Don't miss it when Repticon returns later this year, just outside of Houston, the largest city in Texas!

Venomous Snake Identification!
Clint Pustejovsky with
Texas Snakes & More will be facilitating a fascinating and extremely useful presentation regarding snake identification, with a focus on how to identify between venomous and non venomous species. Can you tell the difference? Is the snake you are looking at in your yard venomous or not? Part of this presentation will be an emphasis on how to ID a cottonmouth, and he will discuss the issue of large snakes getting loose and their chances of survival in the wild. You will be sure to learn something from Clint, so don't miss his presentation!

Be sure to stop by the show and see a presentation by Crocodile Encounters, which will include some of their smaller friends than the one pictured here. See these fascinating animals up close and learn all the facts about them.

Hognose Snakes!
A special hognose snake presentation will be given by Jenea Wood from Guardian Reptiles. Learn more about these unusual and fascinating creatures that are still outside of the herp hobby mainstream. You will come to love the "hoggies."
