In Spring of 2010, Repticon brought it's show series north to the fourth largest metro area in the nation, the Baltimore/Washington D.C. Area with Repticon Baltimore! Hosted at the Timonium Fairgrounds just North of Baltimore, this exciting new show featured a great mix of vendors and exhibitors including local vendors as well Repticon regulars who were new to the Baltimore show scene. Check back soon for more details as this exciting new show moves forward in Spring of 2011!

Venomous Herps are Coming!

Repticon Baltimore will feature our Venomous Display, courtesy of Home Grown Herps and Preserve Venomous. So stop by and see what slithers into the show, safely behind glass of course!

Setting Up Herps for Beginners!

Randy Stark of Stark's Ark will be giving a presentation encompassing the aspects of how to properly setup a terrarium or vivarium for reptiles and amphibians. He has spent over 15 years learning everything he can about keeping reptiles and amphibians, and knows what to do to keep most animals happy. He has also studied freshwater and saltwater tanks while working at several different stores as a reptile and aquatics specialist. His seminar is for anyone new to the hobby that wants to begin a setup, or even those old pros who know to ask the right questions!

Delmarva Tarantula Society!

Do you want to see them and learn more, or are you terrified? Some who even love snakes and other reptiles are made timid by spiders and other invertebrates, but no one has to be. Stop by the Delmarva Tarantula Society presentation to learn more about these fabulous creatures, and perhaps get to hold one, fall in love, and forget all fear. Their presentation will focus on "How to take care of a tarantula," and several different types will be displayed.

Of Importance to all Pet Owners - USARK!

Join USARK, the United States Association of Reptile Keepers, for a presentation involving the latest legislation that effects the hobby and industry.
Find out what you can do to express your desire to protect your rights as a pet owner!

USARK - Auction!

USARK will hold a fund raising auction following the show Saturday.
Where: The Museum building located right next door to the Show. In the DNR room.
When: Saturday Evening @ 5:30 immediately following the show.
FREE FOOD & DRINKS!

The auction is open to the public and proceeds will be used to support USARK.
USARK would appreciate donations from vendors for the auction and any other help you have to offer.

Arachnids!

Mike Dean from Exotic Kingdom will be giving a presentation focusing on various arachnids. As a breeder of these creatures, he is the man to learn from if you are into animals that even some herpers think are creepy and crawly. If you like tarantulas, scorpions, and other spiders, stop by to see them up close and personal!
